       c.  Complete Kit with Mameco frame

       d.  Turn-key cars

Some builders opted to use 1951 Nash grills, use OHV engines  (Olds 303, Cadillac 331, Hemi 331, Y-block Ford/Merc. etc), most had pre-1948 Ford Transmissions with a shortened drive shaft.

When first designed, The G-2 was set-up to use commonly found 1939 to 1948 Ford chassis parts or donor cars.  Builders made their own choices, so no two G-2s are alike.  Many likely were modified over the years, too.  My G-2 seems to be 'barn fresh' for the most part so aided in compiling the above.

The G-2 was produced from 1951 to 1954.  Most are 1952 and 1953s pre Small Block Chevy era.  It is safe to say pre-1954 parts are what to use if a period restoration is what you want.
