The dark red #2 Ferrari I think was an ex-Pan-Am entry. In 1960 it belonged to Pacific Auto Rentals. It had lost its seats, and the shop foreman would drive it to lunch seated on a milk crate. Jim Webb and I found some old Jag seats in the garage where I lived. We took them over for the Ferrari and had the run of their shop after that. One of PAR's best known cars was the Duesenberg J roadster used in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" I was living in the 'twin' to the Baby Jane house in the old Wilshire District then.
