This car was purchased from local estate. Apparently the guy started to put it together in 1959 or 1960, and was never finished and has sat in a garage for over 40 years.  There was an old 1960 Illinois license plate in the trunk, but I don't know if it was used on this car. There is no windshield.  There are no seats. The motor and frame we have been told is either a 1954 or a 1955 Ford (291??) V8 with overdrive. The motor does run and drive. My husband says the gas tank is really dirty from sitting. It has no brakes. My husband put a brake line on it so he could drive it around and the brakes did work but the line came off. The tires are flat on the bottom from sitting for so long. There is primer painted on the hood, but otherwise this car is in raw fiberglass and has never been painted. The car can be viewed in person if you like, we are 35 miles south of Chicago. If you have any questions about this car feel free to e-mail me and I will direct the questions to my husband.  Better yet you are welcomed to call (708)672-3369 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. central time and ask for to speak to my husband, Fran.
