The car was originally built by Michael Appell from Guilford, CT.  Michael Appell built over 20 custom cars during his lifetime.  Michael passed away in 2000.  He found the body in the woods and built everything else.  It was purchased by Geoff Hacker  in early 2007.  The car was featured in the 2007 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegence.   The car was sold to Rick D'Louhy and is located in Ormond Beach, FL.
