The #390 LaDawri Daytona is powered by a Ford FE 390 big block bored and stroked to 428c.i. making in excess of 450hp.  The heads are vintage legal EDC heads that flow better than Cobra Jets.  The engine delivers power to the wheels via a close ratio Borg Warner T-10 4-speed and a 9 inch Ford rear end with Winston Cup bearing, Nodular case and traction lock.  Axels are custom 31 spline.

The engine is set back which allows 45% front weight and 55% rear this allows excellent handling in high speed turns.  It is street legal with 3" exhaust and 3 chamber Flowmasters. Brakes are vintage legal 1959 Jaguar disks up front and large drums in back.

It has log books from two vintage racing groups.  This car is a consistent winner in the historic class it runs in with many first place finishes.
