Hi Jon,
Just thought you'd be interested to see
another LaDawri. I bought this body from the original
owner, Major H Byrd in Bakersfield California. Major bought the
body from LaDawri in 1964. Major still had all the original
receipts and documentation which came with the body. It spent
most of the last 43 years hanging from his garage rafters. I
have it back in L.A. now, where it will hang from my workshop
rafters until I get other projects out of the way! I'd be very
interested in getting in touch with other Conquest/Daytona
owners & builders to solidify some of the ideas I have for
building the car.
