The car has a metal plate on
the firewall with a serial no A386477 it has a solid axle
front and what looks to be a late 50s corvette rear suspension with
a ford 9 inch rear end no motor or trans. The last owner said
he bought the car
complete...not a kit.
I bought a car I thought was a Devin kit but on the bill of sale the
owner gave me it said he originally bought the car from Les Dawes in
California in the early
sixties to race it in New York. Also on the bill of
sale he called it a Daytona which led me to La Dawri.com
I bought the car about two years ago and the man I bought the car
from passed away shortly after he sold me the car.
