This is Bill Melvin Jr. My father found the car ( Bill Sr.), and we are restoring the car with the help of Dave. Dave happens to be a good friend and a great asset to this project. The car is currently located in central Florida, and is not in the state that is pictured in your photos. When we bought the car it was just a shell. Since then, we have assembled a "period frame and straight eight motor" which is being homologated to the body. We are only using materials that would have been readily available at that time in which the car was manufactued. Once this is complete, it will come to my shop for a thourough inspection of the body. At that point, all of the information we can get on how these automobiles were assembled will be key (Interior, body trim, Windshield, wheels, etc.). From what we can see, it is an S4 that has been modified. Any help with this would be appreciated, as well as the number of S4's that are still in existance.
