An Interview with Hugh Jorgensen

Victress T-Body / LaDawri T-Lightful

One of my favorite pictures of LaRae, with our T-Roadster. It was a LaDawri glass T body on a tube frame with a Dodge Red Ram Hemi and a Cad-LaSalle 3 speed, tons of fun. You can see 2 of the 4 carbs.

Hi Jon,
The LaDawri T-Body that I owned was a dark green roadster pickup.  It had a 331 Hemi in it with 4 2bbl's and a Cad-LaSalle 3 speed.  It was built by a friend of mine and I bought it from him around '69-70.  At that time, he lived in West Covina, CA and we were living in Ojai, CA when I sold it.    It was a blast, but I had to sell some cars when we were expecting our first in 1971.  I sold it to a young man in Ojai, CA whom we knew.  I cannot remember his name anymore.  I have no idea what happened to it as we moved away about year later.
